More Description for Traits
The “More Description for Traits” mod for Project Zomboid is designed to help players understand what effects each trait and profession has on their character.
Key updates as of November 2, 2023:
- Updated translation into Ukrainian (thanks to @Dream Doc).
- Updated Korean translation (thanks to @earlyou).
- Added Italian translation (thanks to @Lore11).
Description of the mod:
- Detailed trait descriptions: The mod adds detailed descriptions to traits without leaving players confused with unclear phrases. Now it will be easier for players to create their own character development scenarios.
- Hover Description: The mod also adds a hover description to the character info screen during gameplay. This also works with trait descriptions from other mods, such as Banjo item sets or dynamic traits, for example.
- Sources of information: The mod developer relies on his own knowledge, unpublished Java files of the game (which have been decompiled), published Lua files of the game, player feedback and the PZ wiki.
- Bug Fixes and Updates: Most of the added trait descriptions have been placed in parentheses to distinguish them from the original trait descriptions. If you notice a typo, know of an effect that is not listed, or notice something that is incorrect or poorly worded, please leave a comment for clarification. The developer acknowledges that he did not take into account all the effects that could be listed and may make mistakes, so he is relying on player feedback.
