Description of Has Been Read
The Has Been Read mod adds read markings to book icons in Project Zomboid, making it easy to track their read status. Here are the main features and capabilities of this mod:
Features:
- Book markings:
- Books that have not yet been read are displayed with a “?” icon.
- Books that have only been partially read are displayed with a “!” icon.
- Books that have been read in full are displayed with the original icon without any markings.
- Labeling your own books:
- You can tag books, for example, to check if you have them in your inventory.
- Marking is carried out from the context menu of the target item.
- Settings:
- The following options are available in the mod settings:
- Show Unread Mark (?): You can choose whether to show or hide it.
- Show Incomplete (!) label: You can choose whether to show or hide it.
- Show Already Read Label (v): You can choose whether to show or hide it.

Known Issues:
- For CD/VHS/HomeVHS, only the "Unread" marking is currently displayed, the "Not Complete" marking is not displayed.
