Description of Barricaded World - Extended Erosion

The Barricaded World - Extended Erosion mod is designed to enhance the atmosphere of the zombie apocalypse, making the world around us even more realistic and dangerous. It adds additional elements of erosion, making most houses look like abandoned shelters and city buildings look empty.

  1. Abandoned windows:
    • 60% of windows will be destroyed.
    • 44% chance that windows will be barricaded with boards.
    • 6% chance that windows will be barricaded with metal sheets.
    • Note: Only windows on the first floor can be barricaded.
  2. Destroyed doors:
    • 40% of doors will be destroyed.
    • 20% chance that doors will be barricaded with boards.
    • Note: Only doors leading outside can be barricaded.
  3. Erosion protection:
    • You can protect some doors/windows from erosion.
    • Right click on the door/window of your shelter and select "Erosion Protection".
    • You can also cancel the erosion protection in the same way.
  4. Erosion Integration:
    • The appearance of destroyed and barricaded windows depends on the degree of erosion.
    • The higher the level of erosion, the greater the chance of broken and barricaded windows.
    • Example erosion sandbox configurations are provided for various erosion rates and time since the apocalypse.

Setup recommendations:

  • To play with this mod, it is recommended to use the "Six Month Later" sandbox configuration with a "Normal" number of zombies for quick setup.
  • Adjust the erosion rate and leave "Erosion Days" at 0 for an optimal experience.

This mod will transform your Project Zomboid experience into a true survival experience, with every corner of the world presenting a new danger.
